What is HeyVet?

HeyVet is a digital consultation, case sharing and patient follow-up platform built for veterinarians. In short, it works like a “knowledge and communication network for vets”.

It lets veterinarians get fast support from specialist academics or specialist colleagues on difficult cases in their own clinics. It can be used via the mobile app and the web. It offers consultation, case sharing, reporting, webinars and sponsor-supported scientific content.

It includes an AI-assisted assistant called HeyVet-AI; but it always works with specialist approval and never decides on its own.

How does HeyVet work?

Membership: The veterinarian signs up in the app.

Case sharing: They upload a clinical case with photos, X-rays, lab results and more.

Consultation: Academics assigned in the app answer incoming questions according to their availability.

Reporting: A PDF report in HeyVet format can be created for every case.

In short, HeyVet gives veterinarians fast access to knowledge, support for accurate diagnosis and treatment, professional solidarity and education, and technology that is easy to use.

Is everything I say written straight to the record?

No. Every extracted line waits in an approval queue and moves to the record only with the vet's approval. Who approved a line and when is recorded; if it was corrected, what the model said is kept too.

Does the AI make diagnoses?

No. Its job is to separate each spoken sentence by finding the field it belongs to: history, physical exam, treatment given, prescription, vaccination schedule. The definitive diagnosis is entered by the vet.

Does the measurement dictionary recognise my clinic's own wording?

Yes. The system never adds an unknown phrase to the catalogue on its own — it lands in a queue as a candidate and enters the pool once approved in the panel. No term is written to the catalogue without approval.

What happens to the data in my current software?

There is an import wizard: the file is uploaded, columns are mapped, conflicts are resolved on screen, the import runs as a batch and can be undone if it goes wrong. Dictation only makes sense with a filled history — to say “Melo's vaccine is 12 days overdue” it needs to see that data.

Where are voice recordings processed?

On the server for now. An on-premise solution running inside the clinic is on the roadmap.

Who can sign up?

Veterinarians, veterinary doctors (PhD) and students. Sign-up requires approval: no account is opened before the diploma is reviewed. Pet owner sign-up is not on this page — it is on the HeyPaw side and needs no approval.
